Agonizing night

I always thought that "cry oneself to sleep" was a figure of speech. Kinda considered it physically impossible - first you cry, then you sleep, not at the same time. Well yesterday I was proved wrong. Oh and it hurts like hell in the head afterwards. The more you know!
